I swear I think some of you are happier if Ole Miss loses than when State wins.

Ole Miss and Bianco make supers and host and lose.

State and Cohen suck donkey balls and sit at home.

I don't give a damn what they do or don't do. A large portion of State fans obsess over Ole Miss. Here. Genespage. On all of the boards.

I will say that this was a little bit sweeter for me than the first nine.

Mainly because of all the crap we've had to hear about Cohen abusing his pitchers (cough, Drew Pomeranz, cough) among other things.

My 2nd favorite team is always Mississippi's opponent- My 2nd favorite team kept them out of Omaha today...damn right we are happy..

Our program has to step it up and get back in a regional next year...but we are on the right track and will close the gap

but their pompous 17'n attitudes make that impossible. Maybe some of you don't have to deal with it like some of us others do. I get sick of hearing about 45-0 when the year before we beat them with a Croom coached team and they are 1 year removed from an 0'fer in the SEC in football. SCREW THEM!!!!!

But this is one time where we part agreeing. I'm pissed as hell about our season, but the fact is if we just had 2-3 more decent pitchers, we'd have been a regional team somewhere. I'd much rather us win, but Mississippi losing is a close second. So pardon me if I rejoice in these ********' misery. Hell, I wouldn't know what to think as an MSU fan the last few months if Bruiser and his ilk didn't tell me what I should think. And we won't mention that most of their "baseball fans" didn't even know baseball existed until about 10 years ago. No, I'm going to immensely enjoy rubbing their noses in it, because it won't be long until we take back what is rightfully ours.

I have no great celebration when Southern Miss or somebody like South Carolina loses because they aren't dicks. Ole Miss baseball fans are. Thus, I'm happy to see them upset.

it's still funny in a schadenfreude sort of way. We've hosted one super and won it 2-0. They've hosted 3 or 4 or whatever and lost them all.

I did a war dance and a rain dance when those suckers lost and I'm not ashamed to say it.

and I bet no threads were on the ole miss boards about all of our NCAA basketball tournaments (sarcasm meter just broke). I want us to win and we are our only enemy right now, but I really enjoy watching ole miss spinning their wheels in the same rut. Unfortunately, that rut involves regional and super hostings.

When I read this particular board, I don't see any MSU fans obsessing about Ole Miss, per se. I see many MSU fans making fun of Ole Miss, however. I don't see what's so radical about that.

It is three months to football and the board will be dead for most of that time.

Not to mention that virtually all of their posters (with the exception of OP4 and Bruiser) deserve it.

Bruiser is okay. You can have a discussion with him. At least, when he comes to their defense, he makes some attempt to post a fact or two.

Most of the other OM posters can't be engaged in any type of substantive dialogue. Worse than that, they whine ... a lot.

I have no problem getting a laugh out it. Hell my dad and I did when we got the text that they lost while playing golf. 45 threads about it on here just seemed a little overboard to me.

When I lived in Oxford, the garbage that I had to put up with when we went 0-2 in the 2007 CWS was of an epic scale. The "damn I hope y'all get your asses kicked in the Liberty Bowl" crap seemed to be infinite also. To hell with them. If any fanbase deserves an onslaught of ridicule, it's those narcissistic bastards.</p>

where a bunch of us sixpackers were giving them hell. I hate those pricks. All they can say is that we $+*% our sisters and live in trailor parks. They also don't think we fit 14000 into DNF. They also said every kid in MS right now grows up wanting to play for Ole Miss, and we will never surpass them in baseball.

The ******** dish it as hard as any fan base in the country. But when the shoe is on the other foot, they whine like bitches. 17 them. And while we're talking about them dishing it, let's not forget the hiring of PI's to dig up dirt to have us put on probation. I'll never forget nor forgive the bastards for that. Some of them are reasonable, including a couple of my friends. I feel genuinely bad for them. But the vast majority of their fan base can go 17 themselves.

though I think the USM section is about 10 seats too big in that pic.

On the coin flip thing, my only gripe about it is that it's just a microcosm for what happens to Bianco. A coin flip is supposedly 50/50. Bianco is 0 for 3 on coin flips in Supers. As I said on Nafoom yesterday, Bianco could call heads with a two headed coin, and it would find a way to come up tails. Reality is, you both still get 27 outs, so it doesn't matter that much. The coin flip thing just shows that the sports gods hate them some Mike Bianco.

Interesting stat though, in the home dugout in Oxford Supers, we're 3-0. In the visiting dugout, we're 0-6. Probably just coincidence, but an interesting number no less.

Them losing helps heal the pain of our past seasons failures. Anytime Ole Miss fails at anything I am happy. I suggest you go buy yourself some Rebel gear and quit your bitching.

Like Todd said last night, every freakin' year since 2003 we have had to put up with the ******** mantra: "This year's Ole Miss team is built for Omaha."

Well, if your team is built for Omaha as you claim, & you can't even get to Omaha even though you have gift-wrapped regionals & super regionals land in your lap year after year, then I'm sure as hell am going to find a Miss. State message board & beat that "built for Omaha" dead horse until I'm red in the face.

If you don't like us making fun of these perennial, overrated chokers, then start a ringtone thread on genespage.
