Playing for the Gamecocks was Olivia Thompson's dream come true, and she made sure the dream had a fairy tale ending.

Aside from the great story that is Olivia Thompson, seeing how her teammates cheer her on and it seems 100% genuine, it speaks incredibly well for:
1) Dawn Staley and the environment she has instilled.
2) Olivia
3) Her teammates (especially the SR's) as they seek to build and maintain a deep bond
4) The overall team
5) The overall program
It is wonderful to see our favorite college team have not just a stout program ... record setting program ... #1 program ... but one that genuinely puts others before themselves. Boston is simply incredible (and is my favorite Gamecock) but I must tell you, Raven Johnson is it for next year ... that young lady simply works, is teachable, and wants to win!!!!

I might have gotten a little misty eyed watching that. What a great story and a perfect ending for her. Props to the fans for the standing ovation. Go Gamecocks!!
