Finally, somebody printed the olympic hockey tournament bracket

1st elimination round is today. Interesting seeing Canada in that round. Team USA gets a 1st round bye and plays the Switzerland-Belarus winner in the quarterfinal round tomorrow.

Wow, all the teams in the elimination round today have a monumental task at hand. To win gold, they would have to win 4 games in 6 days.

Avoid Canada, Russia, and Sweden until Gold medal game.

Got alot of work to do but works in our favor for sure.

The game on Sunday night was awesome.

We have a relatively easy road to the Gold Medal game. Finland is certainly capable of beating us on a bad night, but they could lose to the Czechs as well.

The lower bracket is definitely the toughest road. Canada, Russia and Sweden - all teams that could win the Gold. One of them will definitely not medal and one other can win bronze at best. For some reason I see Canada miraculously coming out of the lower bracket, and losing to us again on Sunday.

You're not even going to eliminate ANYBODY after group play? They should have either grouped the teams into 2groups of 6 teams each or added 4 teams and grouped them into 4groups of 4 teams each. Either way, take the top 2 from each group into the elimination rounds.

Could have used the page system like they do in most Olympic sports.

4 team bracket
1 seed plays 2 seed
3 seed plays 4 seed

1/2 loser plays 3/4 winner
that loser is bronze medalist
that winner plays 1/2 winner for gold/silver

I hate this bracket.
