Not being able to be at the HUMP I have been watching a lot of the Olympics. True story:
Last night I was watching downhill and wife of 40 years walks through den on way to other TV to watch "The Bachelor".
She: When does basketball come on?
Me: Honey, that's the summer olympics.
She: That doesn't make sense. Everybody knows basketball is played in the wintertime.
And she's not blonde. My favorite Olympic moment with this college educated retired teacher is when the 1996 Atlanta games were announced in about 1990 or so.
It broke on the news and I shouted to her, "Atlanta is getting the 96 Olympics". Her question - "which one - the winter or the summer?"
It's been a great life.
