OM Basketball Game Thread

[FlotownDawg]

I have never seen a group of players who cannot hit an open jump shot. It’s incredible. Wide open jumpers and we can’t make any of them.

[DAWGSANDSAINTS]

It’s just really hard to watch this bunch.

[BulldogBlitz]

Kermit spends a lot of time on the court during play.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

2 bad teams

[BoDawg.sixpack]

Neither one of these teams would be able to put away Murrah High School the way they're shooting.

[anon1756333655]

Brandon Walker just took 3 shots from half court and missed all three…. Takes the mic and says “I’m still rich”….. Legend

[anon1787432961]

Matthews: hardwood football

[1msucub]

I tuned in just in time to learn three things:

1. Murrell had not scored a single point.
2. Ole Miss had not scored in TEN MINUTES.
3. We were only up by 6.

We are not good at shooting the basketball.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Tolu soft as baby sh@t down low

[FlotownDawg]

I’m beginning to see why the Oregon State team that Dashawn Davis was the point guard for last year went 3-29.

[DAWGSANDSAINTS]

How can your Guards go 0-fer ??
I mean that’s hard to 17-ing do !!

Which can be described as semi-understandable but our inability to make layups and stuff is much worse.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

This half has been brutal

[BoDawg.sixpack]

Now we can't make layups...

[FlotownDawg]

Now we can't make layups...

We never could make layups. I can’t count the amount of times we get right to the rim and miss.

[Cantdoitsal]

This half has been brutal

Now we can't make layups...

When have we ever been able to do so? At least the last 3 games and now this 17ing game.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Can't make a 17ing layup but we can give them up to Ole Miss who is hustling right by us

Gift wrapping this game to them. We do not have one go to player simply because no one can make layups or free throws.

What a waste of a great defense and complete lack of confidence

[Poppy IV]

Most junior high girls teams have at least one player who can sit from 15 feet and fill it up.

[anon1756333655]

Now we can't make layups...

Haven’t been making them the whole first half

[FlotownDawg]

Shakeel More wide open three gets stuck between the glass and the rim. Embarrassing.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

About half of this team needs to go out for Football in the spring

[BulldogBlitz]

Good thing we have out offense in now or we'd be down more

[57stratdawg]

Brutal trip. Down 3, Jeffries can’t get a shot off under the basket, misses both free throws, we get the rebound, miss a 3.

[FlotownDawg]

I started laughing when Jay Wright said we have our offensive lineup in the game.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Gonna turn this off. We are wasting scholarships. Maybe we can portal a few players.

[DAWGSANDSAINTS]

Shakeel More wide open three gets stuck between the glass and the rim. Embarrassing.

Does that shot surprise you tho ??
We need a total transformation of this team for next year.
Get 3-4 portal guys and a couple of freshmen
We are that bad!

[DAWGSANDSAINTS]

This is laughable!

[57stratdawg]

Cam Matthews with a couple big assists.

[DAWGSANDSAINTS]

Im
Out.
I’ve gotta better shi7 to do with my time than watch this shi7!

[aTotal360]

McNair looking like Olijawon.

[FlotownDawg]

I like McNair. No dropoff from Tolu at all and has played better than him in this game. Keep him on the floor.

[BoDawg.sixpack]

Well the last 4 minutes couldn't have gone much better.

[whodatdawg12]

That was a fun run. Gotta keep it up and finish it out.

[Cantdoitsal]

61.5% from Charity Stripe. Pitiful. Jr High Schit.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Maybe start McNair over Tolu next game

[whodatdawg12]

Let’s see what we can shoot from the line down the stretch. Not off to a good start.

[FlotownDawg]

Clutch 3 by Davis. Jeffries can’t hit anything at the line though.

[TrueMaroonGrind]

We are actually hitting a good amount of shots and our FG % is still 38%. The first 30 minutes were an awful display of offense.

[dog99walker]

It’s like we don’t practice free throws. We are so bad at offense.

[BoDawg.sixpack]

It's like we just loosened up after we hit that first three.
