As someone on NAFOOM wrote last night: "<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); ">We all said after last season, 'well it can't get any worse.' well it's worse."</span>

Worst loss since '74.
Worst home loss since '49. That's right 62 years.

Personally, I have mistrusted Nutt since the '09 season. I felt this year might be a chance to 6-6 based on the "couldn't be worse" assumption. Wrong.

Good:<div>
</div><div>I think Mackey, Brassell, Scott and Moncrief can make some noise. Some serious speed in there. Playing freshmen now means you'll be playing veteran juniors and seniors in a few years. Some good DBs, like Charles Sawyer. Always liked the way he played. Get DT Shackleford back next year. Mackey might be the only real "spark" there is.</div><div>
</div><div>Bad:</div><div>
</div><div>Can't have these assrapings like this. 30-10 is OK, but not 52-7. And you can't get blown out by Vanderbilt. VERY alarming. The team just quits. Reminds me of MSU 2003. You also have players not giving a **** and getting suspended. This won't end well.</div><div>Fractured fanbase that doesn't give a ****.</div><div>AD is completely disorientated.</div><div>6 million dollar buyout.</div><div>Nothing illegal to convince the NCAA to tear down MSU with.</div><div>Losing some talented players as seniors. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal now, but these were good players for you back during the good years. </div><div>Team will be completely Nutt's next year. I shudder to think.</div>

Seriously, it does. More like some 30-for-30 documentary and less like a listen-to-Nutt-and-Kellum-drone-on-about-the-game.

burnouts like the other guys who have endured 3 years of Nutt's leadership. Some of the rumors going around say that there is dissent in the locker room and who could blame them. They could not have any faith in their coaches after last season and the start of this season. Piss poor scheming, playcalling and game management abound on our staff.

Unfortunately most of what you consider the bad is pretty accurate.

The fanbase is fractured, and has been since the 90's, over the constant ******** that torments our program. Flags, songs, mascots, transfers, coaching issues it never ends. But we do give a ****. However, with the GOB network fully is control, we mostly feel complete frustration. AD is demented. Buyout is his baby and he should have to pay it. As for MSU and the NCAA we'll just have to make something up. And yes we are losing some talent, like B Sowell. All kidding aside some feel we'll be in better shape which I disagree. With our coaching skill we'll never know anyway. Even if we field a better team the schedule is a real *****.

I was discussing his buyout with a UM friend at work a couple of weeks ago, and I thought he made a pretty good point. At the time, Nutt was coming off 2 straight Cotton Bowls and was 18-8 as coach at UM and was putting himself out there to move on to a bigger job somewhere. How much hell would Boone have caught if he had let Nutt leave without doing everything he could to keep him? Not sure I completely buy that, but it is something to think about.

at least everyone who knows what's going on did. His track record over the years is evidence. Given enough time, he'll probably get back to 8-9 wins at Ole Miss too, in a few years probably. But with all the craziness going on right now....it may be turning into a Rich Rod/Michigan sort of deal.....the situation is just too wrecked to get better.
