...is "SEC, SEC!" what MSU fan chanted @ UCF fan last year @ the end of Liberty Bowl?

If you'll recall, all week before the Liberty Bowl last year ESPN & the rest of the sports media world were swearing up & down that UCF RB (forgot his name) was going to gain 400 yds. on the MSU defense.

He did go over 100 yds., but he was held in check.

After the Liberty Bowl, the talking heads shut their pie holes about the greatness of the UCF RB.

Chants should be team-centric and perhaps opponent-centric. Just like hiring a new coach...that's a good moment for the TEAM. Perhaps that is a bit amateurish though....But the veterans will chant "SEC! SEC! SEC!" when the next head coach lands at Golden Triangle Regional Airport!!!

Overrated was chanted once. You might not have heard it on TV for whatever reason. Maybe it was during commercial, but SEC was definitely 2nd to the Hotty Toddy during the game.

And yes we beat that ***. Those *%#*#!@ didn't belong on the field with us.

I don't know how the SEC chant sounded on TV. In person, the SEC chant was louder than anything else said at the game.

It was said several times in the 4th quarter, with one "Houston Nutt", and a couple "overrated".

The fact is Tech was overrated. I don't care what it says about us. From what I witnessed, OM was underrated by the pundits and fans and Tech was overrated. How else do you explain what happened on the field between the 7th ranked one loss team with 2 Heisman contenders and the 25th ranked overlooked (outside of the SEC) rebs.

The OM fans WERE chanting "SEC...SEC" over and over during the 4th quarter. Just as we were in the 2003 Cotton Bowl when we beat Ok State. We are used to it. Maybe you'll get the opportunity someday.
