How hard are the bears praying each night this week that we get beat? If we win, they'll say,"17 you we knew you sucked all along... We beat bama!" But if we win, it'll be "I'm glad you guys are doing well because it's good for Mississippi."(even though I wouldn't believe a word of that shite)

They have definitely set aside the "Let's all us Mississippi folk stick together" hooplah since their LSU game. All that I know are chomping at the bits for State to lose.
Truth. It was only a matter of time before this brotherly love element faded. I know some folks who claim to still have it, but they are lukewarm fans at best and usually don't care what happens to any MS team on Saturdays.
I can't make myself do that. The argument that "it's good for everybody" just doesn't do it for me. I want what's good for Mississippi State University, and most of the time, that means Ole Miss must lose. I want fan support, media attention, recruits attention, momentum, resources and focus to be on a single institution - OURS.

They are huge Bama & Georgia fans this week. There is still a scenario where a 3 way tie with us, OM, & Bama in which OM wins the tiebreaker & goes to Atlanta. That scenario means we lose the Egg Bowl. I don't think they beat us. Just throwing that out there for those that didn't know.
Yep. We need Georgia to beat Auburn, Bama to beat you, us to win out, and Auburn to win the Iron Bowl. Dont think we win the Egg Bowl or that Auburn wins the Iron Bowl though.
