I **** you not...those clowns are already hanging banners for next year to take their mind off of this year's disaster.

And for the *** clown that is going to ask why I went to that piece of **** board anyway, I wanted to see their fall out over Liggins but the LSU news obviously hasn't made it there yet.

the next 2 seasons. Those idiots just don't get it, you have to win first to change the program image for recruiting, and that's not happening this year. Hell, it might not happen the next year.

What'd they do? Get a three star to commit? Let me guess...it was a RB.

..That's why I am not over-excited about this MSU recruiting class, even though it's an excellent one:

It is going to take at least 2 more like it to get MSU competitive in the SECW.

OM might sign a dynamite 2013 class.

But if they want to return to competitive football in the SECW, they'll need equally dynamite classes in 2014 & 2015.

there aren't any turely talented DL prospects in the 2013 signing class. This was the year for the DL and State cleaned up.

This will continue to be a position that haunts UM for many years to come. Without a D-line, they'll still be at the bottom.

We fully expected that we would lose the Egg Bowl !#%'s first year here. UM was favored andour win there startedUM's downward spiral.

is that a large portion of them never make it past the first year on campus(if they get there), or they never worked hard when they got there.

Greg Hardy missed 20 something practices under O, and even though he would get suspended occasionally, he still played. Anyothersuccessful program wouldn't have tolerated crap like that.

Houston Nutt told Jermaine Whitehead they dont yell at players and that players can take days off "when they don't feel well enough to practice."

That type of work ethic will not cut it. It remains to be seen what Freeze will do.

...you can forget my theory about signing back-to-back-to-back great classes in order to become competitive in the SECW.

They've already met my criteria, yet still suck.

So much for that messageboard theory.

they can keep winning press conferences. The fact is, they have one SEC win in the last two seasons even though they keep "winning" in February. There is no way they can spin a presently ranked 59th class as good in any way, so they are trying to divert attention to next year. They cannot win on the field with three straight top 20 classes.

In Kalio Moore and Tony Connor. Moore is a legacy and Connor is from SP. Other than those two and the OT they just committed, who knows who they'll get. One 5-star won't make a class, just like Ward isn't helping their ranking much this year.

They already have Davion Johnson committed, who is a pretty good pick up. You would have to think they lead for Conner and Mix out of USP, and Shumpert from Tupelo/Itawamba has said they were his leader, and they once had Kalio Moore committed to them, and he is a bit of a legacy there. They are going to do pretty well. Everyone is going to be after Conner though, wouldn't be shocked if he winds up at Bama or LSU. Plenty of time for us to get back in the game for Shumpert, who we really need. He is the first workhorse back to come out of MS in a few years, probably since Dixon. Moore is a good player with great speed, but I don't know if he is an 25 carry guy like Shumpert. So, they'll get Mix, Johnson, and Moore most likely. They've got a great base set up for them next year with guys that have ties. The state is loaded with offensive lineman next year, which is good for everyone. Jake Thomas from Columbus is probably the top guy and we lead for him. Memphis is also loaded next year with good talent, so it will be interesting to see who can pull the big names from that area since no one team really ever stakes a claim to it. Long long way to go obviously, but I don't think MS has the depth in 13 as it did in 11 and 12, but the top flight guys are really good. We'll have to take some Bama and LSU scraps, but should start being able to recruite a little more regionally with our continued success on the field. </p>

They already have one commit and feel like they will get the 5 star DT from GA, plus feels like they will get both Ashton Shumpert and Kalil Moore...........

Seems like every year all the top guys are leans to Ole Miss at the beginning. Only reason I say that about Shumpert is because there's like 5 RB leans to UM and they can't get them all. Plus Tupelo has been friendly to MSU.

One thing MSU does well is produce RBs. We'll typically win an objective battle with Ole Miss for that position.

Supposedly the brother that they signed last year to get him is pretty unhappy in oxford. The bears do have a lot of inroads with several top players and they will get some I'm sure. But I will be surprised if they don't lose two or three b/c they are going to struggle to win five games next year. It could take them awhile to get back to the point that they are a legitimate .500 team.
