Just turned on their game few minutes ago and heard RN, Scott, moncrief, treadwell, etc but no Wallace. Did they just pull him or is there an injury?

I listened to part of their game on the way home

and I'm pretty sure they just pulled him because they were scoring at will. Put Brunetti in.

Wonder why they've left all the other starters unless they had to put em back in there bc it tightened up. I don't understand leaving Scott and moncrief if you pull Bo. Oh well whatever

SEMO appears to be scoring at will (somewhat) now. I'm wondering too why Bo was the only one pulled if it was indeed because OM was cruising. I just can't see that happening immediately after the half though even if they were up 31-0.

OM didn't score at all in the second half either. I thought that was odd.

Don't know. I quit listening to it and turned to Cousin Brucie on XM6. They didn't say anything about Wallace being hurt when I was listening though.

13 points is scoring at will? Must not have much will. Both scores after a turnover. Tell you what, though, none of the bear Qbs had a good day. Wide open receivers had to make acrobatic catches. Wallaces passes loked like onside kicks.

We were up 31-0 in the 2nd. We started subbing a lot of 2nd/3rd string guys in. Was nothing wrong with him, just no need to be in there. Also, I don't remember seeing Scott or moncrief in the 3rd/4th quarter.

I was at the game (wife is a bear, no way she was going to another SWAC rout) Moncrief played; Scott was only in returning punts in the second half. Offense was third string but defense was showing a lot of starters. Bears were using a 5th string walk on senior as QB for most of the second half. IT showed--NO points scored. Still, Wallace's passes looked like onside kicks. Brunetti can run, but he cannot throw. Trouble is coming if yall cant find someone that can throw SEC caliber passes. Also, your 2nd string was outplayed by SEMO- which means you can't have any more injuries.

Wallace looked fine. He was throwing passes on the sidelines. If I had to guess, I think once the game was in the bag, they were trying not to show anything that Texas might see on the game films. I'm telling you though-- Wallace's passes looked erratic-- Tebow grade bullsh*t. Looked like onside kicks. Dude's shoulder has not healed.

Yes, he was taken out when we went up 24-0. He didn't play any after that. Moncrief and other 1st team guys were pulled then as we'll and put back in late 3rd bc of the offensive issues. Ratliff (scout team QB) played in the 2nd half when Brunetti started sucking. Then Brunetti came back in. Only injury I'm aware of was Burton (starting RT) with a rolled ankle in the 3rd or 4th. We played a lot of 2/3 team OL and WR. Defense was combo of 1/2/3 teams depending on position. Played 5 RBs.

Your posts here make it sound like you're almost hoping for an injury.

Like I said I turned on the radio and heard most your starters names, but no Wallace's. I caught the tail end of David k mentioning why Bo was pulled so I asked. I haven't constructed a voodoo doll of Bo or anything, but his health is something I follow

We had to get Brunetti in with the starters in case Bo goes down. As this board has pointed out many times, if Bo goes down we in trouble

Bo is the one player we can not afford to lose. Others would hurt but Wallace would be a disaster. Plus GOT to see brunetti work with the first team just in case.

Was at the game and didn't see that at all. Did see him throw high. He was off and still had 180 yds through 1.5 quarters. I'd say that's a pretty good day for an "off" day

I agree. Wallace has made all the difference in the world for you guys. Best decision Freeze made, regardless of how it happened with the Mullen offer, etc.
