Up by 4 with 1 second to go, UGA fouls the Auburn 3cpoint shooter. The shot misses, but he had 3 free throws with 0.7 seconds left.
They are going to OT.

That’s about as crazy as last night’s California vs Notre Dame game. ND was up by three in the final seconds, and coach wants them to foul. They do foul, but it’s in the act of shooting and he nails the three for a four-point play. Refs get together and reverse the call, and the Cal coach goes crazy. Then the refs get together and reverse the call again and say the three pointer is good. Cal made the free throw and won by one point. ND’s coach chased the refs off the court after the buzzer.
It was the right call by the way. College basketball has gone to the continuation rule this year, and the guy was fouled right as he was pulling up for his shot. I think what made the coach so upset was the fact that the refs reversed the call and then reversed it a second time.it was one ref. same one that made the foul call on the shot.
I’m having a software malfunction because I’m not fully understanding how three FTs can cause a four point game go into OT. Excuse me while I do a hard reset.Up by 4 with 1 second to go, UGA fouls the Auburn 3cpoint shooter. The shot misses, but he had 3 free throws with 0.7 seconds left.

Still scratching my head.I’m having a software malfunction because I’m not fully understanding how three FTs can cause a four point game go into OT. Excuse me while I do a hard reset.
Sorry, I thought it more obvious. The Auburn player hit 2 FTs, then, with 0.7 on the clock, intentionally missed the third one and an Auburn player tossed the rebound in for 2 before the clock expired.I’m having a software malfunction because I’m not fully understanding how three FTs can cause a four point game go into OT.
