You mean, we've got a chance Nov 15th?
As a long time suffering Dog fan my brain won't let me think that way. It says the backup will get progressively better each game to the point where he will have the game of his life against us and solidify their bid to a really good bowl which he will be MVP of and never have to buy another drink in his life whenever he visits Columbia, MO.

This is obviously coming. The qb is going to cost them some games and they are going to have a bad record while showing slow improvement and it’s going to click against us

More likely that the MSU way is the backup goes down the week before they play us and we find out: 1) the third string guy is the next Johnny Football and 2) our defensive coaching isn’t capable of any adjustments to handle it

On Mizzou's first play on offense..

..they lost QB1 Sam Horn to a knee injury.

This was the backup QB and it was not Missouri's first play on offense. It was Horn's first play. Beau Pribula started the game. In the middle of their 2nd drive, Pribula lined up at WR and Horn came in to take the snap. Some sort of lame trick play where Horn just runs the ball.

Thanks, I didn't watch the start of the game and didn't realize Pribula was the starter. This NIL stuff keeps me guessing. I'm not sure who MSU's d linemen are. Either way, I wasn't super impressed with Pribula, but I'm sure he will kill us.

Oh gotcha.. I totally misheard the explanation when I switched over during the Boise game.
