On the 2nd Dak INT Lamb took that play off

Lamb clearly one of the best, if not the best WR in the league, but it looked like he took that play off big time. Barely jogged the whole route, and was running it to put him in front of the LB, but just as Dak was throwing it to him, Lamb changed direction so he could jog behind the LB.

Also think Dak got hit right as he was throwing, but Lamb ran as lazy a route as I can recall seeing.

Here's a video of the play. Lamb in the slot...the Dallas player closest to the bottom at the start of the video.

Is there any way in hell this is what he was supposed to do on this play, or is it that he just got lazy on this one & took the play off? How does he not even bother to look back at Dak until after the INT?

I’m trying to pay attention to this play, but I keep getting distracted.

What the 17 is this?IMG_3331.jpeg

Jamar Chase is head and shoulders better than Lamb. So is Jefferson. Also Puka. Lamb is at best a top 5 WR and I think that’s iffy.

Wherever you rank him, is that the kind of effort you'd expect from an All-Pro?
No, that was garbage effort. It was like Lamb wasn’t even in the play. Just kinda jogged over and did a halfass route and just got out of the way of the defender. This was the definition of “taking a play off”.

That was clearly on Dak. He expected lamb to run the route, pay attention, and give a 17. And lamb did none of the three. He does this several times a game. Dak should have expected it.
