We will only be fined in an instance where the other team complains, plain and simple. The SEC office could care less about enforcing the fines and will only do it to appease a complaint. My guess would be that a team would only complain if we beat them.
I can assure you that Auburn will not complain, because they were the ones that tried to help us resolve the cowbell issue. Keenum and Stricklin are actually pretty close with Gogue and Jacobs.
Based on the way the talks went at the SEC meetings, the only team on our home schedule this year who will complain is Arkansas.

This issue isn't nearly as big to the 10 non-Mississippi schools as a lot of people think it is. They just want it to go away and they don't want to deal with it. Like you say they're not going to fine us unless the opposing team complains. They'd really rather not fine us at all and just let the issue disappear. If some of our fans will give them just a hint of cooperation by not blatantly breaking the rule, we'll have legal cowbells forever. Unfortunately, we have a good number of ******** in our fanbase that may wind up costing us our cowbells forever, and for real unlike the last 36 years.
