That is the reality, but Rhule had definitely upgraded the roster and as he gets his guys another year that will number of draft selections will change. It should be an exciting year and hope we can get to that 9-10 win category and relevance again in college football. When tOSU get 2nd string players drafted you got to know they have talent beyond most.

Except NFL draft picks also have a lot to do with record and Nebraska was no joke well within winning at least 1 to 2 wins. With the extra wins we likely get guys drafted earlier.

Maryland had 4 draft picks.
You're not wrong. But how many winning seasons has Maryland had in the past 4 seasons vs Nebraska? The answer 3 out of 4 vs Nebraska's 1 out of 4.

All I'm saying is if Nebraska features more winning teams more guys get drafted simple. Now the first round drought is another matter.
