Out to dinner at Bravo's Italian Restaurant in Ann Arbor, have a family of Michigan fans behind us. He jokingly makes a comment to the waitress about a Michigan win tomorrow loud enough to get my attention. Points to me and laughs. We kid a little back and forth. Then the waitress comes over with a great dessert they just had delivered to their table and says, "the table over there wants you to have this". Was a delicious dessert sampler. Always great to be able to joke and talk to great opposing fans. Good luck and safe travels to a new friend.

Yes, we have encountered classy Michigan fans today in Ann Arbor as well.

We have met nothing but nice Michigan fans in our time here. Even after we parked in the President/AD parking spot at Schembechler Hall...

There isn't a single reason why Michigan fans wouldn't be nice to any of you - you're not wearing MSU or OSU gear.
My company used to have an office in the Detroit burbs. All were Michigan alums/fans. Great people (and all are still great friends), but they looked down on us. I saw the arrogance first hand. They are nice because they don't see us as a threat.

I always like to hear these stories . At the end of the day it's just a game and something to entertain us for a little while . I never got the whole wanting to fight someone because they wore another team's colors . So good to hear about some classy fans .
But yet I still want us to win at all costs lol !

Honestly, I've had some very friendly conversations with Mich, wisky, MSU and PSU fans. In fact, a Michigan fan was trying to get me out there this weekend but I had some other obligations.

However, OSU fans - at least the ones there on the 24th - were terrible. Just awful.

I didn't think they were awful but like the regular (non-alums) folk from Wisky last year...they sure were different.

The few I met were terrible - admittedly small sample size - but they were the least gracious in victory of any bunch I had met. PSU fans were pretty kind to us this year, even acknowledging that they were no strangers to playing through tough times and last year, they kind of acknowledged that that was the worst game ever played.

I'm mostly agreeing with you.

Was just trying to be nice to our B1G fans who visit ScarletNation. ;)
