The three way phone calls......Bell says he told the NCAA about 3 way phone calls, but Rogers' attorney says he didn't know if those conversations took place. It seems like the NCAA would have asked Rogers about those phone calls, and Rogers' attorney was present at the NCAA interview. I'm really wondering about that.

This is significant, because the only thing Bell adds to the story at this point is direct contact with Cecil. You can see that a lot of Bell's evidence was trying to prove that he was in communication with Rogers. This makes sense, because up until last week Rogers was denying anything at all had happened. Now that Rogers is admitting talking to Bell, we need Bell to have spoken directly to Cecil to prove this was not all a scheme concocted by Rogers.

The 3-way phone calls are critical, but the NCAA did not ask Rogers about them???

There's that report from WSB in Atlanta that someone "close to Cecil" says that Cecil admits to asking for jack from State. It hasn't been established that the source is Bell, has it?

The "source" said that Cecil admitted "having conversations with an ex-Mississippi State University player about the possibility of under-the-table money." That doesn't mean Cecil was asking for money, just the Cecil admits that he and Rogers were talking about money.

We need proof that Kenny really was working for Cecil, and not just doing this on his own. Bell's testimony just about nails it down. The conversation with the coaches in the hotel room, or those alleged phone conversations discussed by Joe Schad, we put this to bed.

Yes, from the MSU perspective, Rogers was working with the Newtons and not MSU. For any of this to stick, though, we need to show that Cecil knew Rogers was trying to get money for him -- Cecil's original defense was that Rogers was just working on his own without Cecil's knowledge.

I don't know if Rogers is a booster. If he ever gave money to the Bulldog Club, then he is a booster. Rogers doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who gives his money away, but you never know!
