assuming your statement is in fact...factual,
arkansas is also batting sub .250 (.247) as a team...good for 11th in the sec. ole miss is hitting 2nd with a team batting average just under .300 (.293).
that is literally equivalent to comparing the 11th best hitting team with the 2nd best hitting team....not sure though, i have a feeling i might get a visit from the literally police for an inspection, but i think i am in compliance.

I'm aware of the official lyrics. I'm also aware of what is actually cheered.
It was a pitiful performance by us matched with a terrific one by Kirby. He was on and our batters were never able to get ahead of him. That's why as mad as I'd like to be at Bianco for botching the 9th, we deserved it. Hopefully we'll get a second shot at him.

Well I am as skeptical as they come, but I cannot believe they ONLY got one hit because they did not have their "favorite" bats because the NCAA took them away. Dang, did the Bears SLEEP with those bats? You have to wonder if the NCAA officials found *** on the ends of the bats when they inspected them if the dang things mean THAT much to the Bears!
I've been going to Ole Miss games since before I could talk, and I don't once remember anyone (not a single person) ending the cheer with anything other than "By Damn". I say this as an agnostic that has no issue using GD myself, though I don't use it in public since I know that it's not socially acceptable. Do you honestly believe any school in the South would make GD a part of one of their main cheers (official or unofficial)?
I'm not saying it's never been said, but if it is said by some, it's FAR from the mainstream, since I've been around some crass folks and never heard it.

RebelBruiser to the rescue! Good for you for having classy friends, I guess. I don't know what to tell you, man. I've heard that many, many times. I've had it screamed literally in my face in your stadium. (Guy subsequently [and drunkenly] apologized, to his credit.)
As I said, if you heard that, it's far from the mainstream, and it's not the norm....or I'm sure I would've heard it by this point in my life with as many games as I've been to through the years. Like I said, I've been around some of our most crass for games and never heard it end with a GD.
And honestly I'd have no trouble telling you if I had, because it doesn't offend me. While I won't discount your experience, I'll tell you that I've never had that experience, and I've heard many more Hotty Toddys than you have.
This is really a silly argument though, since the whole thing is rooted in the subject of the thread (a subject based on a movie quote). So I'll drop out now.
