One thing that was confirmed last Saturday is that the myth of Nick Saban is exactly that. He is a great coach. But the idea that Bama doesn't have let downs (as many of their fans, including the sane ones claim) is a complete farce. This is two years in a row where they have played poorly (and I'm not taking any credit away from our defense here) after the LSU game. If we had been able to execute in special teams and in the red zone, they'd be looking at two straight post-LSU losses.
He is a great coach, but he still coaches 18-22 year old young men. They have let downs. "The Process" cannot eliminate that. We play them post-LSU again next year (albeit in Tuscaloosa). So maybe next year.
