One minor positive going forward?

Despite not having anything near a consistent pass rush, Rutgers already has more interceptions this year (8) than all of last year (7). Most are against some decent QB's. Yes, two are by Lewis who won't be back next year but maybe the tough times Austin, Adams, Wharton, Cioffi, Jacobs, and Hester are going through this year will pay dividends next year and down the road.

That's all I got and had to dig for even that.

Always glad to see a positive posted about this season and something to hope for next year.

In before the Debbie Downers and Negative Nellies start attacking a Positive Pete ( [jumpingsmile] ) post
and turn this thread into a
thread

Congrats on finding something positive. I imagine it wasn't that easy

LOL. Actually wasn't looking. I like to compare stats of games against common opponents to see if anything jumps out when I saw RU has 8 this year. I remembered we haven't been causing turnovers for several years so went back to look at '14.

One thing you should all know by now. Things are never as bad or good as they seem.

More positives:
- Tied with Michigan State with a little over 4 minutes left. Michigan State!!
- Incredible comeback against Indiana.

Here are some "excuses" also:
- Best d lineman out for the season.
- Decimated secondary.
- New soph QB.
- w/o best wr for the majority of the season to date.

Yes, I know all teams have injuries and other issues which is why I called them "excuses".
