One reason Prescott needs to start.

Our RBs have been pretty unimpressive so far this season, and Perkins has injured his ankle twice. Prescott has been the only consistent threat running the ball we've had so far. Take him out and it's hard to see us getting much on the ground against LSU. If Russell starts, Prescott needs to at least get a lot of snaps, at RB if not at QB.

Agree. My worst fear is Tyler starts, and gets us in a hole, so when Dak does come in, it's too late to try to establish a running game. Dak will be forced to pass, LSU will know it, and they'll just pin back their ears and come for him on every play.

That will kill the confidence of both QBs.

I don't know, I've been pretty impressed with our running backs-particularly Milton in the Troy game. If Prescott can get the read-option correct, I think it will be hard to stop.

Agreed, our RBs have sucked, but it may the OL. Who really knows.

Dak is not suited to be a RB. If he EVER changed positions, it'd need to be TE. He's more Tebow than Vick.

It's hard to establish a running game when no one respects your passing game. I think the RB's are fine. I put the inability to pick up yards on the ground on the up-the-middle call on 3rd and 11.

OL kills too.

Robinson, Shumpert, and Milton have all looked fine to me, although Shumpert and Milton have seen limited action. I think Perkins is struggling to be the power back we seem to want him to be, but that's understandable seeing as how he weighs like a buck eighty.

Our line is not good, so we're not going to have any RB roll up great stats, and while I don't think we have an anthony dixon or Jerious Norwood on the team this year, I do think RB is the one position on offense where we compare favorably to most teams around the SEC.

My concern is that TR has not done a great job of reading the def and is not quick enough to get out of the pocket with LSU. I realize that you should not lose your job to a injury but this is basically a new season. Dak has his problems and MSU in general will have their hands full with LSU, but at least maybe Dak could get out of the pocket.

Do we want TR out of the pocket? Do we want Dak (for the most part) in the pocket?

TR has played a half of football. He made a few poor decisions mixed in with some pedestrian playcalling. Don't give up hope on him yet. Sometimes observing on the sidelines and listening with a headset can afford a new perspective on football. (I'm looking at you Dan and remembering the Gator Bowl 2013).

Doesn't really matter who starts. They need to split the reps through 3 qtrs. I'm more interested in who plays better during that stretch and finishes the game. You know it's gonna be close in the 4th quarter.

I think these running back are capable and Daks reads are getting better and better and not bad now. Milt, rob and shrump can step up, but their young and need confidence and inspiration like playing LSU. I do hope if Tyler gets announced the daknation doesn't boo Mullens decision. I say Dak!!!!! but I respect Tyler and think he needs to get involved. But regardless remind everyone to be respectful to a respectful young man, regardless of Mullens decision show Tyler love.
