Well I know there are several but Salem's kicker is no less than impressive to say the least. Several kick offs out of the end zone last night and one that looked to be 8 yards on the hill on the scoreboard side. Always puts on a show at halftime warmups kicking fgs out past 50-55 yards! Some fans make sure they are back at halftime to catch him warming up. I know game situations are different with the snap and hold being part of it but he has plenty of leg to get it there. Got to be one if the top kickers in the state

No doubt Panther. Nate Craft has been a consistent contributer each and every week. The Salem coaches have the luxury of knowing a team will have to march 80 yards after each kick. With the poor kickoff coverage that is prevalent in todays high school football he is pure gold. It also helps create a ton of short fields after defensive stops.

Most people know I am a special teams fanatic, so I enjoy giving the unsung heros their props. I know this is debatable, but I think Class 4 in general has some of the best kickers/punters in the state. Even though I am partial to my man Anspach, I will not argue about Craft being the best as he has proven his worth many times over. If my memory serves me correctly he kicked the winning field goal in the 2015 state final game. Can't get anymore pressure than that.
