We were in the game until Bell missed that late field goal. That seemed to demoralize the rest of the team, both offense and defense. We need a 17ing kicker.

On a similar note, think of the 4 times we got close only to settle for field goals or nothing in the first 3 quarters.

Our defense clearly needed to play better for us to win, but we couldn't keep settling for 3 while they scored TD's.

They were great on 3rd down and we definitely were not.

Even with poor secondary play, we had chances to be leading by about a touchdown going into the 4th.

Bell has no business attempting a field goal inside of 50 yards ever. I made the same observation that that miss just took the air out of the teams' sails (along with the subsequent interception).

Why don't we give the other guy a shot?

He can't be any worse can he? What's his name... Sobeisk? All I know is he's a little short dude. But I'd love to see him get a few kicks this week.

Didn't realize it until yeserday. He make a 24 yard FG and XP vs Troy.

I've been wondering that ever since I saw that we had a 2nd kicker in the Alcorn game. Even if he has a weak leg, why not give him a shot at FGs under 40 yards and let Bell keep the longer ones.
