what the heck happened in the 1st game when we let a pop up drop about 10 feet in front of home plate that gave Alabama a 4-3 lead??? It looked like the first baseman somehow wrongly called off the catcher though apparently he didn't have a clue where the ball was. At the time he called for the ball he was several feet in foul territory while the ball ended up dropping 5 to 6 feet in fair territory. How do you misjudge a ball that bad? Did we have hurricane blow through Starkville in those few seconds? Sometimes we look like the Keystone Cops out there on defense.
