It's sticking in my head that Will Shields was the last OL to start a game as a true freshman. Am I right on that? Anyone?
I think the kid from Florida that subsequently transferred was. Think he was a legacy 4 star recruit.

Moore started the opener as a frshman and I believe Javario Burkes started later in the year as a freshman.
Not sure he ended up there. Thought he said he was going there but ended up at USF chasing tail.
Yes that is right. Was playing for the Tampa Bay Storm, signed and later cut by the Bears in 2015. Wikipedia is a great thing.
For sure he played for the Gators. I remember because there was this funny play where Moore was run-blocking, lost his guy and started to block the next guy he ran into. Which ended up being one of his own teammates.
Does it count as a pancake when you take your own teammate down?
