“Ok, cutting it short since this is annoying to some. - $76,975: Payout per C19 admission - 12,821: Qty of C19 Discharges in AZ = Just shy of $1B“

I took that from Coronavirus thread, that’s how much Arizona receives from the Federal govt Cares act for each Covid patient admission. Every state receives a similar amount as well as for deaths.

To put it plainly, IDGAF about anything other than mortality rates. People get sick. That is an intrinsic part of life. Let me know when this is the second coming of the bubonic plague, otherwise piss off. Take individual measures with elderly and people with compromised immune systems.

I care when I can’t get parts from my suppliers because they are operating at 50% capacity because of mass illness. Tell me how that helps the economy.

My only question is why are we testing athletes and college students more aggressively than LTC patients, hospitals, or any other person in the workforce or general society? Testing on re-entry, multiple times per week, shutdowns with asymptomatic cases? That's absurd for a group that's more likely to die in just about any way other than Covid.

Most hospital employees and doctors haven't been tested. True story.

Most LTC patients, accounting for 60% of our deaths, havent been tested more than once.

Yet, 18 year old people in elite condition are going to get multiple per week.

A family member is a nurse practitioner, works in a cancer office, hasn’t been tested.

So operate without people. or with highly sick and contagious ones. Your logic lacks logic.

or maybe you were saying operate at 100% of 50%. In which case, your math lacks logic.

businesses are impacted by COViD. That’s called a fact....

But we agree. That was a ******** post. Unfortunately I didn’t win. I had to read this.

Hope you stay safe. Wear a mask. Wash your hands.

What area?
Nuevo Laredo. There for work.

Texas Single day death record? Yesterday.
Texas Single day case record? Yesterday
Haven’t seen today’s result yet.

Florida single day death record? Today
Florida single day case record? Today

oh and a 17 year old with no apparent underlying conditions dies in Lancaster in April. Her name was Jameela Dirrean-Emoni Barber. Not a 70 year old invalid with leukemia or whatever.

Dallas has over 1200 cases today alone.

no one is wearing masks. No one.

But I know. Most will say These are BS facts made up to try to something something.

been in direct contact with multiple positives.

wore a mask...washed my hands. Stayed a few feet away. And I’m clean. AMAZING

What virus fans such as yourself fail to realize is that the flu (and many other illnesses) are far more likely to be deadly to a healthy 17 year old than the virus.

Not a virus fan, just not a moron.

when there are 3 million cases and growing and 130k deaths Form the flu, let me knowX

I wear a seatbelt, not because I am an accident lover. I do it because accidents are real, and I am not stupid.

virus lovers would say “don’t wear a mask, don’t wash your hands and get to spit swapping distance”. It’s almost like these morons are the virus’ spokespeople. That is literally what the virus would ask us to do to help it out.

Good luck being part of the spread!!!

Was I comparing the danger of the flu vs. the coronavirus as to the general population, or the danger of the flu vs. the coronavirus as to a healthy 17 old?

This is really all that matters. The death rate. If this was not a "political disease" society would identify the most vulnerable and protect them. The rest of society could continue with their life and life would go on. But we will have to put up with this until the November election.

you say it isn’t a danger to young people. I say a young person dies and you start babbling about the flu.

Whatever you have to do to say your right.

You’re not.

I sincerely hope you take the necessary precautions and keep you and your family safe. I mean that for real. May disagree, but hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

So you chose to protect yourself, awesome.

Florida and Texas are filling in deaths from earlier months. That’s what I’m trying to explain to you. The deaths you see aren’t always or even most of them from that prior day.
New Jersey posted 119 yesterday, only 5 were from the prior day.
Texas has 37 today, right online with their numbers from the beginning.

The only thing that has changed is we’ve ramped up testing. It’s why the death numbers for Texas are similar to its numbers from March, April, May even though cases are increasing.

The virus hasn’t killed 130000, its killed some for sure. The CDC allows states to claim anyone that dies with Covid or suspected Covid without a test to be labeled a Covid death.

again. Don’t like facts? Make up your own.
98 deaths today in Texas. I know. I just saw it on the local news. Came from the office of the most conservative governor in the land. And a conservative news channel. But if you Don’t like that? Make up 32. You should have said zero. Should have said negative. -42 people died in Texas today!! LOL

this battle isn’t between liberals and conservative. Protests and rally crowd look the same.

It may be the smart versus the dumb. Some people will stand in the rain and swear it’s sunny.

Or maybe it’s the selfish versus the selfless.
I don’t wear the mask just for me. I wear it for my fellow American. Same reason many of us served in the military. To protect my fellow Americans and to support our great constitution. Other people matter. If I wear a mask and it saves someone? Great. If not, it cost me the effort to wear a mask. Not much. Guess it’s too much to ask for some.

I hope you And your family stay safe and healthy through this. In the end we all bleed blue and I hope to argue with you, in person, at the First UK *** kicking this football season!!

peace out.

No, it made perfect sense, you just opted to go full retard instead. Compromise and operate 99%, you know, the percent of the American population who is completely healthy and unaffected. If your only option is to only allow highly sick and contagious people to work for you, I have to wonder why you employ so many elderly folks as well as people whove been incarcerated? You could just hire people from the over 99% of the American population who are conmpletely healthy. Hope this helps. Cheers.

I didn’t make it up, that was on worldmeters when I posted it. Obviously they added deaths afterwards.
How many of those died today and how many are backlogs?
It has nothing to do with liberal vs conservative to me, it has to do with ever overreaching governors. There is no reason for KY to be under a mandate, none. The only thing that changed was we tested more people. The percentage positive stayed the same.
If we did 100000 tests and 3300 came back positive should we shutdown the state, no. Because it’s exactly the same percentage positive.
The argument is some people will stand under an umbrella because it’s raining somewhere.

Spare me the patriotic crap, I served in the military too. Of course other people matter, but so do my and your individual liberty. If your scared stay home.
