Only four seniors on RU's Defense ?

Looking at the roster I see nine seniors on offense: Young, Dremel, Jackson, Washington, Bowman, Langan, Brown, Ciaffoni, and Dunlap.
But I see only Ahanotu, Iton, Jennings, and Abraham on that defense. Could next year's unit be even better than this year's ?

If that D can contain the big boys... yeah.. I can see the NFL coming to call. But yeah.. all those guys, if they test well in combine type measurements.. they can take their shot.. and I'd expect GS would encourage them if he uses his sources to gauge their draft demand.

Nevertheless, anyone impressed by RU's defense has to be even more impressed upon learning that it is the opposite of senior-dominated.

Portal losses are always a threat so it’s difficult to say who will be here as a senior.

Let’s take another look at the offense and the more likely returners. QB , RB’s TE’s and WR will be fine. O line will be better even with several departures. D can be better still if that’s believable. There are always moving parts year to year . Good programs somehow manage to develope and reload . That is the goal .

I hope Schiano ups their pay then heck enjoy another year with Rutgers. It would be the only chance in forever to do so.
