Only one offensive position was left out

An article in the clarion ledger today had Croom blaming 3 positions for the offensive woes. He talked about the OL (Grimes)play, TE play(Stringer) and the fullback play(Rocky). Woody's positon player(QB) was never mentioned or neither was Pat Washington's (WR). Is there a pattern in this list???

I think at the old age of 32 I must be losing it because until I read the Clarion Ledger today I would have sworn that Croom just said that he keeps the blame off of the players. That he never blames the players and that he is the one to blame. Then I woke up this AM and read the article in the CL where Mr. Croom blames the offensive liine, the tight end, fullback and running back. I think I need to see a doctor because I am obviously losing it.

Which is a huge step up from prior years and is better than any other offensive position has played this year.

Maybe, just maybe, if we had any resemblance of a passing attack that could was more than a 10 yard route, 9 men in the box would not be the norm. I am so tired of this ****.

and those are typically the positions that are heavily involved in that aspect. Granted I haven't read the article, (just saw the title and decided I already knew all I wanted to know about us not being able to run) so there may be more to it.

was what ills our offense the most and then Croom basically said what he found most disappointing was the lack of the running game.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. When teams aren't afraid of your passing game, they will stack the line. This only compounds the problems discussed in the article. Dear Croom, as coach you should be trying to find a way to cover our weaknesses rather than complaining about them in the paper. Perhaps, if you had hired someone knowledgable in the system you wanted to run and competent at coordinating offense in general we wouldn't be below 100 aGAIN.

I really wish someone in the media had the guts to call him out on his offense and his throwing players under the bus. I really do.

He was critical of Tyson after the LA Tech game. The QB who was in his first game and did not turn the ball over. Not the one who threw 3 picks.
