Only State fans would blame 5 turnovers on coaching.

Dan is responsible for the preparing the team. All units and all phases of the game. He didn't prepare the team.

I have a suspicion the players don't have much respect for Mullen. The way the team just doesn't respond to any kind of adversity is very telling... and yelling and screaming louder at players/coaches isn't going to fix the problem.

We have lacked mental toughness for 2 years. Blame that on whoever but I can tell who is responsible for our general lack of umph.

Oh, I see. He didn't prepare them for 5, or was it 6 interceptions...thanks for explaining it.

It's fair to say the HC is accountable for results. It is not fair to say the HC is responsible for turnovers no matter what logic you use.

I really want to be Snarky and ask was he throwing those pics to instagram or Twitter, but you have camp shelby in your name so I'm going to make the dumb assumption you are legit and just say, thank you for your service, sir, and I'm sorry that there is such terrible college football in your general vicinity to watch.

I am being forced to go to one of their games this year. They have military appreciation day once a year and we are required to go. If they really appreciated us they wouldn't make us go to that ****.

Well, since you're around Camp Shelby, it could be worse. They could make you go to a USM game

Can we blame the first 3 on Dak and the last two on Mullen for being a dumbass and not changing something, ala gator bowl?

Who else would you blame? This is year 5. This is Mullen's players and Mullen's coaches. If we're throwing too many interceptions, Mullen should have recruited a better QB or coached the ones he has better. It's that simple.

There`s a 100% chance that if it wasn`t the turnovers it would have been something else. We were not going to win that game even though we had probably about equal talent.

Anyone who has made the hundreds of mindless, baseless posts defending what is happening to our football program like you have wouldn`t know level headed if it bit your trolling ***.

This just in folks, we have "equal talent" to a program that's contended for the East title and beaten Alabama between their title years. No wonder everyone is pissed.

South Carolina's recruiting classes were in the top 15 3 of the last 4 years. If we have equal talent, Dan is better at finding diamonds than a Namibian 13 year old .

Exactly. That is circular logic to come to the fire the coach conclusion. You can take the stance on either side and have a good argument but pick a side.

You realize we only had 6 turnovers coming into this game, right? We were first in the SEC in that category. So, its not a possibility that this was against the norm is it? But obviously Mullen won't get any credit for our limiting turnovers, until one bad game and then "the buck stops on him." Brilliant.

Stop throwing interceptions Mullen!
Have you seen any State game since bama last year? One loss that doesn't rest squarely on his shoulders and all you dumb 17s start screaming "see, all is well". We have the most most fans with a loser mentality.

We are not a good football team. I blame that on Mullen.

Every week, it's something.

Nailed it. We're just not a good team. We've struggled to beat every bad team we've played the last 2 years except Middle Tennessee, Jackson St. and Alcorn St. Middle Tennessee is our best win in those 2 years and we've embarrassed ourselves against most of the good teams we've played. I can live with losing on 5 turnovers yesterday. It's the way we've played consistently for the last 2 years I have a problem with.

No Dan didnt throw them ints but our football team in five years should be a lot better and he has lost all fire in getting these kids pumped up. Seems he just dont have it anymore. If this dont change soon he wont be here. Period.

this is silly.

The team just looks like **** in unison. Most of them are efforting that I see just all pulling in different directions. Beating ourselves, half assing some times. It's hard to watch.

I like Mullen, and the way he has coached in the past years. I don't see this improving, it looks like ole miss at the end of the nutt tenure.
