Only three teams have the talent to win the CFP. The rest is a charade**

The SEC has not beaten a non-SEC team in the playoffs. Bowl wins have been few and far between as well. To me the reason is obvious. The SEC has forgotten how to play defense. That used to be our trademark. We look like the old PAC or the Big 12 now. Miami, Oregon, and Indiana play DEFENSE. Maybe Ole Miss wins out, but I don’t think so. Defense still wins championships. This is the biggest reason for MSU being so bad now too. A previous coach didn’t recruit for defense at all, and in the process he destroyed our traditional recruiting links. He deliberately abandoned what we could do, and didn’t expand it or replace it with something new. The damage is so bad I do not expect to see it repaired in my lifetime, I’m in my early 60s. Some of us tried to warn about this. We were ignored. Thank goodness I got to live JWS‘s and Mullen’s good years. I also was a season ticket holder for for a number of years either side of 96 in basketball. I got to see lot of good basketball in person. Those are the only sports that really matter in the grand scheme of things. As for baseball, let this sink in…we got a hell of a lot more recognition for ending UCONN’s streak (ONE GAME) in WOMEN’S basketball than we ever did or will for anything to do with our entire baseball program. College baseball is a VERY minor sport.

Entering the quarterfinals, Ole Miss and Miami had the 2 lowest odds of winning the national championship.
Now one of them will play for it all.

What's funny is watching you boomers act like you still understand everything and that you're in control.
