Open field tackling

I've never seen better open field tackling than I have these first two games, even when we had harder hitters or better defenses. We just aren't missing much.

Our tackling is making up some for our lack of QB pressure. At least in these first two games. A more open/throwing offense might be more revealing.

The tackling has been very good so far. It’ll be interesting to see what we do against the SEC. I don’t think we’ve played very good skill players yet.

Speaking of tackling and hits. What about the hit put on their return guy on our first kick off. I don't think their players thought Miss State would be that fast and hit that hard. To be honest after the past two to three season I didn't either. I don't know if they hit that hard in the ULM game.
