I like the USAFA unis. It looks like they are representing their local USAF/USSF installation on their shoulders where their nametape should be.

4 innings in and our Friday night guy looks shaky, we’ve made 2 errors, our batters can’t hit a 7.50 ERA guy, and we just lost our new 3rd baseman for an extended period

It's awful early for us to let the same pitches strike us out in the second at-bat and make the Air Force pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate. The same team... just throw a left-hander at us, and we can't hit.

It's the first game, but we are really making some dumbass mistakes, poor running, some hitting, and some pitching. Not a great start.

It's the same old story at the plate: we cannot hit a breaking pitch. We either swing through it or watch it go across for a strike. I hope you're right, because we look like **** at the plate.
If it helps, several teams have struggled today. Vandy had to make a 3 run comeback in the B9 against FAU.

The other good news is that we won.
Pitching staff certainly threw strikes,, only one walk not including the intentional one. Dohm and Siary also had good control last year though. Will see later this weekend if the others have improved.
Yea, really can’t tell anything after one game, but after how poorly coached we looked the last two years, I’m not going to blame anybody for jumping to any conclusions this year. Would have been nice to come out and look crisp on the first game, just to prove we’re capable of it.
I think that is more indicative of the talent of the rest of the team that you have a 175 lb walkon as the clean up hitter
Look at the Gators. At home and most people picking them first or second in Omaha already. Lost to a nobody
