Does the UCLA catcher wear finger nail polish?

That's not uncommon. It helps the pitcher see what pitch is called. Lots of MLB catchers do this.

I suppose it's somewhat akin to a classical guitar player that has a long fingernail on his right (assuming he's right handed) thumb that's used as a built-in pick. It's a useful thing and doesn't indicate feminine tendencies.

Finger nail polish is new to me. They used to wrap white tape around their fingers.

Nothing to worry about until they paint their toe nails...then it may indicate a problem
