Nah, it's inexcusable. Everyone knows the QB is sliding there 10 times out of 10, and he launches himself helmet first anyway. The intention was to injure the opponent, not to stop the play. The lack of remorse after nearly killing a man on the football field is truly reprehensible.Honestly, to me it didn't look all that flagrant. We've all seen much much worse. I will say the guy didn't do himself any favors with the celebration afterwards.
The only suspension announced so far is 1 game by USC. I'd be surprised if the B1G doesn't step in and bump it up.Agree, but I'm sure that will be appealed. I've never heard of that kind of penalty, and that would be quite a precedent.
Agreed. Moore was literally convulsing on the field and this j@cka$$ is doing some BS bird flying taunt, slapping hands with his teammates and laughing it up. He should honestly never be allowed to play college football again. It’s a privilege that comes with responsibility, not a right.Nah, it's inexcusable. Regardless of how we feel that's never going to happen, any more then him being suspended for a whole season.Agreed. Never said that’d happen. Just what I’d like to see happen.Regardless of how we feel that's never going to happen, any more then him being suspended for a whole season.
With the money they make now it lessons the blow, because he's probably making more then he would as a rookie in the league and he'd certainly be at risk of injury there as well.Hope Moore can come back and have a strong season.
Does remind players of the risk of football and coming back for another season in college.
