Just curious…does anyone remember what happened with Oregon WBB’s 2020 #1 ranked class with five 5-star recruits (one of which was Te-Hina Paopao)? All five of them are now playing for other teams and four of them are in the Sweet 16.

None of them are primary options for their respective teams though. Maddie Scherr is the closest at Ky. Paopao has been the most successful of the bunch. She’s the only one that has played at a 5 star level in her college career and likely the only with a chance at the WNBA.

Kelly Graves really blew it with that class. Firstly he missed out on the best Oregon prospect and arguably the 2nd best player in the class Cameron Brink. Secondly that #1 class all went to power 5 programs and have started and actually contributed to their teams success. Having 4 of them actually make it to the Sweet 16 while Oregon is 2 year removed from it last NCAA appearance is definitely not a good look for him.
