All the threads about the actual game have been taken over by the Franklin debate...c'mon can't we just talk ball for a bit? Just keep it in a single thread?
I’d be cool with it considering the wrist slap penalties scUM received from the NCAA and B1G for doing so.This. I’ve seen multiple references from the Fire Franklin crew lately to his sub-.500 record against Michigan or to Michigan’s having won a natty with zero acknowledgement of their having cheated. Which has me wondering if they’d be cool with going that route ourselves.
what will be Ur selection of fly to start the day? What will wife tie on?As much as I think it would be a great trip, I'm an old guy with plenty on my plate. I'm paying for my granddaughter's MBA and I'm a volunteer teacher, teaching fifth and sixth graders duplicate bridge. Plus, I'm working on a marriage of 48 years. It's fall and it's time to go flyfishing with my wife. So no I won't be making the trip.
It wasn't though...maybe that was your original intent but they won one title. No one else cheated. The grand experiment hasn't won't a title since 86 (well should have one since then but still 30 years) so is it successful?Maybe read through the thread and look at the discussion on Michigan's national championship (which was the genesisof my coment on Success with Honor and the Grand Experiment. Then see how Connor Stallions was involved.
Oregon has speed... PSU is going have to be able to handle their speed. Especially avoiding the big easy explosive plays. Make them drive the length of the field and try to force a mistake. The Oline for PSU really needs to step up and control the LOS. PSU needs to control the clock and keep Oregon's offense off the field. Also if they can run will make it much easier for play action and Allar to pass the ball. All the threads about the actual game have been taken over by the Franklin debate...c'mon can't we just talk ball for a bit? We'll probably both start with an orange caddis. We fish dry fly catch and release only with barbless flies. Might try a stonefly at some point. If we were down on the Umpqua stones would move up quickly. It's just beautiful flyfishing in Sept around here.what will be Ur selection of fly to start the day? What will wife tie on?
It is definitely true that Oregon hasn't won any football national championships. Of course we consider our football program on the rise and as long as we get better every year, we'll get that Nattie. We're certainly new to the Big 10, so give us a little time we only won 8 Big 10 titles last year. And I do believe we've won around 35 National Titles across other sports. As well as the zero number of Oregon football national championships.
Sir, please admit that you are bad and we are great. It is definitely true that Oregon hasn't won any football national championships. Bro I could beat blue hens if I had a bye to prepare and I’m a lax coach
You couldn’t beat actual hens painted blue. They’d outsmart you, and speak a language more closely resembling English.Bro I could beat blue hens if I had a bye to prepare and I’m a lax coach
CoolNever heard that one before.....
Of course if you are interested in what the "O" stands for, the outer part of the "O" is representative of the foot print of Autzen stadium and the inside of the "O" is representative of Hayward Field.
I never go in there so ZFG
Fair enough, but could you lobby to get the stadium renovation approved?
I'd agree I'd expect Oregon to focus on stopping the run and then deal with Allar when he puts it in the air. I don't think you'll see 7 or 8 in the box, Oregon does somethings a little different to get numbers against the run.Oregon is probably going to commit to stopping the PSU run game, no? After last year, I'd imagine they'll put in 7-8 in the box and make Allar prove he can beat them.
You'd hope we could get some sort of consistent rushing attack going, but we're desperately going to need the WRs and Allar to open things up a bit.
Ha. No matter what the place or season the Parachute Adams is sensible. This week back here I will probably start with a Slate Drake. Pretty popular in fall. Yellow Breeches is calling me.We'll probably both start with an orange caddis. We fish dry fly catch and release only with barbless flies. Might try a stonefly at some point. If we were down on the Umpqua stones would move up quickly. It's just beautiful flyfishing in Sept around here.
Also, really depends on what we see around the water, Parachute Adams and Mayflies tend to do well also. (McKenzie River or Willamette River).
Can’t argue with that. If you ever do make your way out to PA in the future stop by the board. We’ll get you set up with any questions, things to do, etc.As much as I think it would be a great trip, I'm an old guy with plenty on my plate. Yeah, he seems to be a poster built along the lines of DaytonBuck or Anison. Can’t argue with that. If you ever do make your way out to PA in the future stop by the board. We’ll get you set up with any questions, things to do, etc.
Good to know you are donating to NIL.there he is
psu, schreyer, usc masters, 2 is applying to Wharton in winter
point is we both put our money in, so we can’t call each other fringe fans. I also met moms at State
I did not know that. Pretty cool.Never heard that one before.....

Wait you want to talk X’s an O’s with this group? Good luck with that. My suggestion would be to go over to the Den and watch @TFrankCarr stuff. It’s awesome. But it requires some analytical skills instead of ignorant bias. Good luck. All the threads about the actual game have been taken over by the Franklin debate...c'mon can't we just talk ball for a bit? This is true though he loves the team. Will travel over a hundred miles to be somewhat near the stadium, but will not step foot into it to actually watch a gameI never go in there so ZFG

Don't know who those guys are, but what I can tell you is that visiting other teams boards means you need to be respectful. Also, I traveled this country for 30 years on business before I retired and where ever you go if you treat people with respect they treat you well. I traveled both rural and urban areas and visited 49 states over the years. I enjoy meeting the locals and learning from them.Yeah, he seems to be a poster built along the lines of DaytonBuck or Anison.
They are posters from Ohio St and Michigan (IIRC) that people looked forward to hearing from on that game week. When you come our way, I'll try and be a good host. Attached are a couple non football picks of the facilities at Oregon.

Which state did you "miss"?Don't know who those guys are, but what I can tell you is that visiting other teams boards means you need to be respectful. That O on the Ducks helmets stands for the number of national championships they have won.

Thanks, West Virginia is the only state I've missed. I was scheduled into WV one time and I was in route when I was notified that a flood had taken out the route to my client. They are posters from Ohio St and Michigan (IIRC) that people looked forward to hearing from on that game week. (Who knew there were good Ohio St and Michigan fans out there?). They were always affable and brought good insight into their teams. Trust me, it’s a complement that you’re slotted with them.
What’s the 1 state you didn’t get to?
Looking forward to getting out to Eugene for a game. I’ve been to Corvallis (before the Beavs upgraded their stadium) and really liked traveling around Oregon for a few days.
Or King Ad Buck.... but there will never be anyone like King Ad BuckYeah, he seems to be a poster built along the lines of DaytonBuck or Anison.
I'll start gathering pallets from behind Walmart, find some plastic sheets and you'll be all set.See you in 27. We’ll need 5 rooms
Instead ill share my VRBO address and we (my crew and your crew) can end our fun Saturday, win or lose, at my spotI'll start gathering pallets from behind Walmart, find some plastic sheets and you'll be all set.
Seriously, when it gets closer to 2027 I'll certainly share what I can to make your stay enjoyable up until game time.![]()
SMU and Potato St ~ Minnesota and iowaAgreed. Playoff games against top 15 squads don’t matter. They only directly lead to a potential national championship, and who cares about that? Beat OSU, but don’t make the playoffs? No doubt you Franklin-haters would be pleased with that outcome. You deserve better! Those of us who don’t irrationally hate Franklin deserve better than being subjected to your pretzel “logic.” “Knowledgeable analysts” = drunkards with an irrational grudge.
Well if you are a golfer, Bend is a pretty nice location. Of course Bend in general is a pretty beautiful location. Flyfishing, rafting, hiking, plus a pretty good community to hang in. Glad you enjoyed Bend.Instead ill share my VRBO address and we (my crew and your crew) can end our fun Saturday, win or lose, at my spot
im super pumped for that trip. Son1 and I hung out a bit in Oregon this summer including an overnight in Bend, my new fav place ever.
MacNit's posts ~ a wet fartSMU and Potato St ~ Minnesota and iowa
Your score prediction M?MacNit's posts ~ a wet fart
It's OK, MacNit. Franklin and crew won, at least, 2 big games last year. 2 playoff games. Put us within a win of the Natty game ... and within a play of that win.
PSU is awesome under Franklin. We actual PSU fans can be happy that we have an actual quality football product, and we don't have to long for the "good ole days," when a molesting pedo was helming our defense. As you're only a hater of Franklin, you wouldn't understand.
