I was a high school basketball game once that was closed to the public. It made me realize how much the crowd adds to a sporting event. It was eerily quiet and although it was still a sporting event part of me was saying "What's the point of playing this?" With no crowd it seems pointless.

I'll be interested to hear the players and media reaction to a game with no crowd.

I think that the CUSA championship game may have been closed to the public, last year. Looked that way on tv...
