Except Addazio took over for Danny Lee Mullen, er, Dan Mullen -- the former UF offensive coordinator who left to become head coach at Mississippi State after sharing eight seasons and two national titles with Meyer.</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Much like Hagar, it's not that Addazio has been terrible, but his offense clearly isn't as dynamic and aggressive as Mullen's was last year.</span>
That's why this game in this stadium against this coach would have been the perfect setting for Addazio to come of age as UF's main play-caller.
