This. And it’s become so damn stupid.

GOP: “We want immigrants to come here legally and work!”
Oscar: “I have come here legally expand wish to gain the fruits of my work”
Congress: “Well now. Can’t have you doing that…”

Defies all common sense.
Um, who controls congress? Tell them to fix it.

Immigrants with exception skills have always been welcome here. They are normally high earners and add to the knowledge base of the country. Historically unskilled labor has been welcomed here, especially by big business because they will work cheaper and longer than those that are born in this country. Within five years there is going to be a massive need for more labor as the US starts to pull away from the rest of the world as food and energy becomes more scarce. Add to the the fact the every baby boomer will not be contributing to the tax base and gen. Xers like me didn't have enough kids to fill the labor gap.
Sorry, got off track. Any skilled worker can get a visa to work here, big tech does it all the time. Why not someone that obviously has skills and will eventually draw a nice paycheck?

I believe the Senate is pretty evenly split for the most part right now. So yeah. Good luck getting anything done.
50 - 50 +1
wanna guess who the deciding vote is

i forgot to mention that Congress is the branch that it has to go through before anything can happen

All politics aside I just couldn't stand to look into those dead eyes for twenty minutes. Maybe all that teasing about being named Addison just made him hollow inside. To add to that he is a UL grad too. I hate how he says that he is from Kentucky when he didn't move to Louisville until he was 14. I didn't move to the Bluegrass until I was 8 and I don't refer to myself as from Kentucky.
I would disagree with about everything you said. Born vs. From. Words have meaning.

Wrong person to talk to. No doubt MM is the most influential Kentuckian but this is only solved quickly by the other party who has no incentive to give MM a win.

Yes hur hur the Dems have a tie breaker.

And my bad I didn’t reaalzie the Senate wasn’t part of Congress. And it would be an immigration bill so it can start in either house.

The State Dept. can fix this or Biden can. The congress will never address it. Typically the laws are written as "the secretary shall determine...." so I would go to the politician who can convince their party to make the change. That aint a GOP MM.

It only goes to the vice president as a tie breaker vote if the senate splits evenly at 50-50. And Joe Manchin sure does enjoy holding his 1 vote above all the others in his party and preventing the tally from reaching 50.

once a politician is elected he should vote the way that he feels is right for our country, not the way his party tells him to vote
when Mccain voted against Republicans Dems called him a "Maverick"
now that Manchin is doing it they call him a traitor to his party
why are they not calling him a Maverick

Probably because Manchin doesn't vote the way he feels is right for our country, he votes specifically the way his big money donors tell him to vote.

And if Manchin ends up being the reason that immigration laws aren't changed and Oscar Tshiebwe is forced to turn pro, you'll see a lot of UK fans calling Manchin a lot of words. I doubt Maverick will be one of them.

Who want's that, child tax credits so 70% more children go to bed with food in their bellies. Creating jobs for people, giving internet access to rural area's, we have more important things to do. Peach season, revenge is a dish best served cold
So you have to spend multi-trillions to put food in kid's bellies? Creating jobs is something government never does; the taxpayer is the job creator with their hard earned money. What part of a takeover of our government don't you see here?
Oh, and with the $$ wasted on 'governement created programs, you could have given every 'TAXPAYER' a million dollars. Read the bill before you pass it!
No wonder no one wants to talk politics; sheep!

Oh, and Putin says it's his fault Biden quit drilling and decided to pay for both sides of a war we are not engaged in.

Slime Azz Weasel Mitch. Said the voters should choose, denied the constitutional process and held up Obama Supreme Court nom for nearly a year. Then said the people had no right to choose and had Barrett rushed through in three weeks. Said Trump was behind Jan 6, then said he'd vote for him again. Jeez.

Yeah, because Matt Bevin (only the second Republican governor since the early 1970s, after the corrupt Ernie Fletcher) was such a shining success. And Matt Bevin was just as corrupt as Fletcher was.
My comment was toward the Commonwelaths reaction to Andy. Personally, He’s been just ok in my book. Dude got blindsided as soon as he was getting going by Covid.

Biden quit drilling? You do know the US still produces oil correct? There are over 9000 approved rigs not being drilled. You need to study the bill. The first BBB had 0 Russians, I mean Republicans vote for it. Then they all bragged to their constituents about it. You are a sheep listening to your party. They will burn America and Democracy down to make Biden look bad, for political gain. Nothing Patriotic about that

I see your true colors shining through Mr. Quio I bet you’ve never met more than 10 immigrants in your life, legal or illegal. But you keep fighting those windmills.

What he needs to do is fly to Mexico & cross border into US illegally & everything would work out fine immediately.

Congress should absolutely do something about this
they got the ball rolling on NIL now they need to fix the cracks that great young men like Oscar are falling in

they only problem is that it will take them a decade to do so
That's FkedU. I like Oscar put why should I be worried about him over US citizens??
