Did anyone see the OSU interception? Looked like pass interference. Announcer said there can't be PI behind the line of scrimmage. Never heard of this.

If a RB is going our for a screen pass, you can lay him out before the ball arrives?

So... do they fire Day tonight or tomorrow?

If tonight, do they let him travel home with the team or leave him there?

I mean, that's what they do when you lose a game now, right?

And does Penn St wish they had waited just a little longer before hiring their coach?

Imagine what they'll be doing by the time his 5-year plan comes to fruition! 🤣 🤣
You saw your hesiman trophy winner last night. First time I've watched Indiana this season; best qb i've seen this year by far. What you saw last night was a great defensive coordinator to do the Xs and Os, and a far superior Jimmy to run the offense. They won't have these guys in five years.

He beat Michigan- finally! That's all that really matters in Ohio. If he would have lost to Michigan AGAIN this year, his seat would have been very hot. He bought himself another couple years.

Agreed. I watched his interview after the game. Very awkward but sincere. Seems like a good guy.

I want to note that his OL played great. He certainly knew when to throw the ball away.

I’m amazed at how well coached this Indiana team is across the board. They averaged three wins a year for the last coach at Indiana (that’s less than us if you are counting along). And they are so disciplined and consistent. Great line of scrimmage play. Great reads by the DBs. One play in particular was a sweep pass to either Tate or Smith, and the Indiana DB had it snuffed out from the start. If he was a step later, Ohio State would have picked up 30 yards. And that happened over and over all night. Very impressive stuff.

It makes me realize that coaching still matters. I hear people say, well Indiana can buy players now too so we shouldn’t be surprised. Well duh. So can everybody else. See what that money got us this year? 🤦‍♂️

No, DPI can't occur behind the line of scrimmage, it must occur beyond the neutral zone.

However, defensive holding can be called behind LOS.
"Should a Could a" called that as well as several Offensive holding in the first half against OSU. I was beginning to think they were getting a free pass until the quick whistle on QB forward progress that was called. What stands out the most to me is the hunger with which IU played. They looked less physically imposing than OSU, but man do they all run their guts out making plays on both sides of the ball. And what a stark contrast of IU's QB crying and clearly leading his team vs LS smiling after interception at the end of the CU game. Something is missing!?! not sure that can be coached.

Yeah, IU looked like they did against Oregon this year - lots of hustle and effort and we see the results it's yielding. Fun team to watch.

But he still lost a game and I thought the 2025 CFB policy requires firing the coach when that happens?

I am, of course, being facetious but also pointing out how ridiculous things have become with the zero-tolerance-for-a-loss policy so many fans seem to adhere to these days. 😁

Outside of a few years here and there, That "it" factor in Columbia has been missing for the last 50 years that I have been following gamecock football. I don't know what happens to our top 25 recruiting classes but as soon as they arrive in Cola, they don't play like top 25.

It's in the bottled water they get on campus. It's also responsible for turning HS 3-point sharpshooters into bricklayers once they arrive.

We're more forgiving; we allow at least 9 losses before requiring the coach be fired.

It's been going on since before bottled water. Maybe it's in the regular water supply? Or just too much weed.

No doubt, it's been going on for as long as I can remember. I think it was first mentioned in Genesis... or was it Exodus?

Rankings don't measure heart! Desire to win. What makes me sick is seeing Mccleod out there playing for Georgia. And now we've lost Hardy- i thought he was going to be a stud, yet no playing time this year?? I don't get why we can's shore up the Bigs on each side of the ball???? Our last real dominate interior guy was Kinlaw. We have been closest to stable, solid, and good when we have strength up front. Ala Brandon Shell, etc...

It would be funnier if we weren't retaining a coach who lost 8 games.
