In the first round, the higher seed hosts the game. In subsequent rounds, the school that has hosted fewer times during the current playoff series hosts the game. If both teams have hosted an equal number of times, the higher seed hosts.
--

So after next week, with Loyola @ Huntley, home games hosted would be :
(seeding in parenthesis)

(1)Loyola 2
(24)Huntley 2
(12)E'ville 2
(20)GW 1

E'ville would host Huntley and visit Loyola.

Mainly a spread look and always in shotgun. They have really been mixing it up the past few weeks so they may be double tight shotgun or 4 wide. Great defense and kicking game.

And AJ is an edge guy playing with his hand on the ground? They playing the 3-3-5 as well?

Do they throw more out of the spread or run more? we see a ton of spread in WSS

I've seen Epenesa line up both at nose and d end. It looks like they play him where they need him most. Usually they run the ball but it looked like they wanted to sling it around a little in tonight's game. Probably threw 15-20 times but most good teams do when you have 8-9 in the box.

Bull and Bear right across from the stadium has good atmosphere and lots of tvs. Also a hotshots right down the road if u want some better scenery. If u want good food, there are multiple spots depending on what you want. Docs Smokehouse is BBQ right across the street. Very good BBQ but a small place.

AJ is All American in football and track - add all-state for basketball. 6/5 and 270. Father, mother and sister D1 athletes. Close Polanesian family - top notch people.

He picked Iowa because that was home- where his mom and dad met on scholarship many years ago.

No one.

Game plan only for him, I'd suggest.

I kid obviously - but a dominant down lineman like him is so fun to watch. It's easy to get caught up in his hype but he deserves it.

Other d tackle is 6'4 285 with several offers. Probably two of the best in the state. D1 kicker committed to Memphis. Hit from 51 yards out against OPRF.

The sophomore back is shifty and fast too. Good receivers - QB can run - he ate up ESL for some big yards.

What's GBW's story? Two conference looses now catching fire at the right time?
They had a few big players go down against LT in the first half. Lost on the road at HC when they went for 2 in OT. Both were very good teams. They seem to be hitting their stride now with 2 very impressive playoff wins and a late season hammering of a good OPRF team. They are always a tough out in the playoffs.

I concur with Silver but will point out that in the first quarter of the first loss against LT, we lost our captain stud running back for the year. The next offensive play after watching our workhorse carted off, our all-state candidate LB went down with an ugly but ultimately not-year-ending injury. For LT and HC, the team seemed to be waiting for someone to step up and make the big plays.

Whatever happened after that game, you see a completely different team on the field now. LB back now, but defense had 4-5 guys step up and produce big plays and leadership. The H-F film will show a clinic of LBs flying all over the field making plays. D line has steadily improved at stopping the inside run which leaves folks the option of throwing the ball 30 times. That is 30 opportunities for blitzing LBs to pressure QB into bad throws (3 picks vs HF) or flush the QB out if not getting the sack. Precision QBs might eat up some yards between the 20's, but in the red zone everything tightens up and it is really tough sledding.

GW plays in WSS and all top tier teams run the spread option with 4-5 receivers. Generally speaking the ones that have been toughest to stop have really good olines that know how to pick up blitzes and a viable running threat at QB.

On offense, I know it sounds trite, but Hetlet takes what you give him. GW will throw for 240 yds and 3 TDs (NV round 1) or throw for 15 yards like we did against HF. Notice in the films how GW will run the same play 5, 6 or 7 times in a row if a defense fails to adjust to a weakness GW finds. And I am not just talking about opening drive stuff. Last two years against OPRF GW ran essentially the same play in putting up 80+ points. The word for is relentless. Hetlet is relentless.
