OT: 4th of July Grilling

Headed to the lake house at Pickwick. Tossing two butts on the BGE tonight, cook on 160 overnight with my special butt rub. Get them off in the morning, wrap in a towel and into the Yeti for 2 hours. Tomorrow hit the lake up for a bit with a few beers and then smoke two slabs of baby backs to perfection. Washem down with some Maker's. Wife is making her world famous homemade cole slaw with the comeback sauce, and getting together some corn cups. Everybody have a safe and happy 4th, and what're you 17'ers grilling?

Ribs, smoked pork belly, hot dogs, smoked sausage, baked Potato salad, corn on the cob, and slider burgers made from a beef tenderloin I grinded up

Since we sold our trailer to go to Omaha we are living in a van down by the river eating a raccoon we scraped off the center line of the highway.

It's all true, except I got pork loins and regular ol' hamburger from the Piggly Wiggly in Mathiston.

If I could get a nice pair of M frame I would love it. Just hard to find. Even a pair of those Bobby Wahls would work**

If I was at the lakehouse at Pickwick we would have 9 slabs of baby backs on the big green egg....but this year I am at my house in Iowa smoking two butts tonight on the big green egg XL then finish up with 3 baby backs tomorrow for lunch...drinking Boulevard Brewing Unfiltered Wheat

Grilled tuna, mahi, opa, and marlin while on vacation here in Oahu. Did it while pitching washers and enjoying a beer from the Kona brewery. Also grilled broccoli, mushrooms, and pineapple.

No grilling here. We had about 5 inches of rain yesterday with more coming today, tonight, and tomorrow. And maybe Sunday.
