Give the smaller conference champions an opportunity. If Troy could go into Bryant-Denny and win, then they deserve a shot.
The whole nation would get behind Tulsa if they knocked off Oklahoma.
Also, the last four teams left out in this scenario: Oklahoma State (3 losses), Georgia Tech (3 losses), Georgia (3 losses), BYU (2 losses in the MWC)
No one can make a legit argument than any of those four teams deserve a shot at the national title.
