Actually, I withdraw that question. I'd like to turn it over to Sky for the question.

I am positive on two. Certain on three. But not sure about the looney tunes.

1. Minnesota Vikings

2. Giants?

3. Steelers

4. ?

I do remember seeing clips Vince Lombardi whistling the theme. So I will guess the Green Bay Packers.

In the meantime, I thought of the question I should have asked in the first place, haha.

Sorry guys but I meant the players names.

L.A. Rams (Fearsome Foursome) 4 players, Deacon Jones and 3 others
Pittsburg Steelers (Steel Curtain) 4 players Mean Joe Green and 3 others
Minnesota Vikings ( Purple People Eaters) 4 players, Carl Eller and 3 others
Baltimore Colts The Looney Tunes) 4 players John Dutton and 3 others
I really should have been more clear. Many of you may not have born when these guys played. I need to be more aware of the youth of this board when I ask questions. It makes the questions not fair to the kids on here. If you guys feel this question is too hard I'll give it a toss and we can just go with dbav's next question. But I have given one of each teams front four. OFC

You did a good job.

The Steel Curtain is right.
Eller, Page and Marshall are right.
Jones and Olsen are right. Reynolds and Dryer played for the Rams but not part of the Fearsome Foursome.
John Dutton is correct. OFC

You got The Steel Curtain.

You got 3 of The Purple People Eaters . The 4th being G.L

You only got 2 of The Fearsome Foursome. The 3rd and 4th being R.G. and L.L. Reynolds and Dryer did play for the Rams but at a later time.

You got John Dutton of The Looney Tunes. The other 3 were M.B., F.C. and J.E.

He did well but not complete. I gave the ones he missed their initials as hints. Yes Jim Marshall did do that. The funniest part of it was once crossed the goal line he through the ball out of the end zone which was a 2 point safety. When he came to the sideline Coach Bud Grant told him he was happy he did through the ball out of the end zone because if he had just dropped the ball it would have been a fumble and the other team could have recovered for a 6 point T.D. Marshall's response was "no way Coach , I'm too smart for that." OFC

Steelers: Dwight White, LC Greenwood, Ernie Holmes, and Joe Green
Vikings: Carl Eller, Alan Page, Jim Marshall, and Gary Larson
Rams: Merlin Olsen, Rosie Greer, Deacon Jones, and Lamar Lundy.
Colts: John Dutton, Freddie Cook, Mike Barnes, and Joe Ehrmann.

I'm a Steelers fan so that one was easy. I'm a football fan so many of the Vikings and Rams were easy, but I have to admit and I don't know why, but I've never heard of the Looney Toons.

What former swimmer, perhaps the third most popular US male swimmer in history behind Michael Phelps and Mark Spitz, is also known as Swim Shady?
