Tiger it is, dbav. 1996 and 2000. Surprised he won it the year before he turned pro and had his huge Masters win. You're up.

What UNLV player missed the potential game winning shot against Duke in the 1991 Final Four?

I think Anderson Hunt is correct but just in case it isn't I will say Greg Anthony and cover another base. Ha.

I could name a few more but feel it wouldn't be fair to simply rattle off the whole team until I get it right. Lol. Think Hunt is right, though.

Coach K had back surgery this season and missed about 4 wks. However his back pain and exhaustion led him to a sabbatical in the 94-95 season which caused him to miss remainder of the year! (Gaudet took over).

Name the team and coach who played and beat Duke in Cameron in Coach K's final game of the '94-95 season:

The ACC has had different schools win national titles in basketball in consecutive years on four separate occasions. Name the years and the schools involved.

Ok, I'm a big Cincinnati Reds fan, so I've got a reds question. Cincy's last World Series win was in 1990. Who played third base for that team and what was his nickname?

Hint: it's the same name as a dog that was the mascot for a certain product back in the 80's.

I knew it was Sabo but just guessing on his nickname based on a popular 80's dog. Spuds...as in Spuds McKenzie or wrong dog??

49ers didn't win a SB with Harbaugh. I think you got it right the first time though, hart. Carroll has won multiple Rose Bowls - and he won SB XLVIII with the Seahawks.

Ha ha, you know, I was having a hard time thinking off the top of my head so I googled sports trivia. They had only Dick Vermeil so I guess that one is a bit outdated. Lol. Yeah, I guess Pete Carroll qualifies. Now the question is What TWO coaches.....ha. You were right, hart. I'll do better if I get another chance, I promise. Lol.

Good question, hart. I like questions like that...

Which former Duke basketball star is from the same hometown as Mel Gibson?

Elton Brand

I confess I looked up Gibson's hometown, but not the Duke player. If that is cheating I forfeit my ability to ask the next question.
