invitation to the People to People Ambass program. Cant get any thing but fluff on web site. Any info would be appreciated. Forgive me, but im very cynical these days about **** like this. Dont want to deprive them of a great exp....but I have my doubts that it is legit.

Legit, good experience for the kids, but a little pricey. I see it a lot on the scholarship applications that come through - it's nice, but not a deal-maker or a deal-breaker as far as awarding scholarships. Don't let the "it'll make him a shoo-in for a scholly" pitch be a deciding factor.

of their leadership thingsin DC a few years ago. It was a great experience and he had a blast. It very legit. It's sponsored by the Eisenhower Institute I believe.

My son went to Australia with them last year. Lot of money, but they help fundraising and organizing the locals. He wants to go on another, but we will probably wait a year then send him again. He was 12 last year.

My son went to Australia ten or twelve years ago. Fantastic trip; great experience;still talks about it.

Only difference is he was in high school, not elementary as your post suggests.

Well-run outfit. Good kids that went, too.

to Italy and Greece. Loved it and still talks about it 3 years later. Great experience.

I went with P2P to Australia in 2000 and it was one of the best two weeks of my life. My younger sister went with them to Europe and loved it. Overall a great experience, but yes, pricey.
