OT: Any other options for high-speed internet (home) other than AT&T or Comcast?

I just switched to Directv and I'm SO READY to deal with someone other than these two companies. Any ideas for Jackson area?

Is Comcast the only cable company serving Jackson? I use Knology for phone and internet, but Comcast is in the area (just not in my neighborhood). If it's there like it is here, in some areas you'll have overlap of competing cable companies, and in some others you won't. But isn't Comcast internet pretty good?

Their internet is pretty good/fast, but if you don't bundle, 12mbps is about $70/month.

C Spire offers a 4G LTE data dongle that can be plugged into your computers USB drive, or plugged into the wall and be used as a wifi hotspot. I have one, and get download speed of about 10 mbps, which is faster than AT&T offers with DSL, but not as fast as the top of the line Comcast and UVerse options.

Just make sure you check on the 4G in your area before to committing to this.

That's about what I pay and I'm bundled with telephone. I think the internet part is $65 or so. It's an expensive thing to have. Mine is 15 down, 4 up. I could get 50 down, but it's well over $100 and probably wouldn't matter with most sites.
