That damn thing they popped on some dude's back was sickening but so unbelievable that it was like a train wreck. Just couldn't look away.

If I ever have something like that there is no way anyone but a doctor will dealing with it. There are some seriously idiotic people out there. I'm surprised they didn't do it with a heated up ketchup bottle. You may have to think about that one for a moment...

the driller suggested we use a ketchup bottle to remove the infection. Needless to say, they flew me in the next day for a doctor and no damn ketchup bottle.

However, I've never seen one that's THAT much. You could have iced a half dozen cupcakes with all that pus.

Go to YouTube and search "huge cyst extraction". The person who posted it is called stonner67. Should be the first one listed.

You have been warned....... Nasty as hell

Empty it. Clean it out. Heat it up by soaking it in some very hot water. Put the mouth of the bottle on the infection and wait. As it cools it creates a vaccuum and sucks it out. I would think it would leave one hell of a hicky like bruise. No way I'd try it. So we did it on a hard boiled egg with a wider mouth bottle of some sort. Sucked it right into the bottle like a science class experiment.

Literally almost vomited. Gagged a few times then changed the channel. I knew I couldn't handle whatever was next on that show.

I've seen bot fly larvae removed from cattle and horses with just a glass bottle. Place the mouth of the bottle on the lump, hit the bottle forcefully, the larvae shoots into the bottle. Works like a champ.

Chick was obviously a Nurse Prac, she knew what she was doing. Wouldn't have been handled any differently in an E.R. And the scalpel was typical hospital issue too. I'm with the other lady though, definitely would have packed it with iodoform gauze.
