OT: Ask the Pack: Ipad Apps

Don't know if this applies to you, but I often have movies / tv shows on my PC that I've downloaded. I usually only want to watch them once, so rather than transfer them to my iPad I use Air Video to stream them from the PC to the iPad. The app is $3 I think, with the PC side software being free.

File management: Drop Box is a good way to have access to important files on all your devices wherever you may be. Free.

For travel, the Kayak app. Free.

For personal finance, the Mint app (their app is fairly new and barebones, but they have a robust website for personal finance and I imagine their app will catch up soon). Free.

And I don't know if you are musically inclined, but even if just a
little spend the money on Garage Band for iPad. It's a lot of fun to
play around with and very user friendly. It's either $5 or $10, can't remember.
