What a great pair- Freeze and Durkin. What could go wrong?

Mr. Freeze with a record of calling escorts from his University phone, Mr. Durkin, who had these things happen under his watch according to reports:

• The coaching staff made the team watch disturbing videos during meals. The videos included serial killers, drills entering eyeballs, and bloody scenes with animals eating animals. It was thought to be a motivational tactic.
• Court humiliated players in front of their teammates by throwing food, weights, and even a trash can full of vomit at them.

Have to say, read an article or two when I saw this and read up on Durkin, Maryland really put 2018 behind them nicely and are doing well. Things could have gone into a downward spiral, and they did not.

And,none of our guys died on Ash’s watch. Ash was a lousy HC but Durkin seems to be a lousy HB.

I don't really care about Durkin (and he doesn't care about me). I never met the man, and didn't mind when the entire state erupted in anger at his short-lived reinstatement.

However, I know enough about the entire fiasco to realize that the tragic death of Jordan McNair didn't have much to do with Durkin. It's all in the report...

However, I know enough about the entire fiasco to realize that the tragic death of Jordan McNair didn't have much to do with Durkin. It's all in the report...

The perception and the actual facts often differ. There were other issues with Durkins culture that contributed to his ouster.
